Billy and Blaze

Billy and Blaze (1936) was written and illustrated by Clarence William Anderson. Billy and Blaze is the first in an eleven book series. All the books are about a little boy, Billy, and his pony, Blaze, whom he receives as a birthday gift in the first book. Billy and Blaze enjoy a new adventure in each book while learning a lesson. Anderson always explains the proper care of a horse (pony) with accurate but interesting detail.
