By using Bookplated you agree to these terms. They’re short because the idea is simple: be a good member of a community of readers.

Your account

You need to be at least 13 to use Bookplated. Keep your sign-in secure; you’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

Reviews, lists, notes and everything else you write stay yours. By posting public content you give Bookplated permission to display it in the service and in share images you create. Remove it, or delete your account, and we stop showing it.

Be decent

Don’t post anything illegal, hateful or harassing, don’t impersonate people, and don’t spam. We may remove content or accounts that do.

Books and texts

Book information comes from Open Library. Texts you can read in Bookplated are in the public domain in the United States, via Project Gutenberg; check your local laws if you live elsewhere.

The service

Bookplated is provided as is. We’ll try hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update these terms and will note the date above when we do.
