Some of the published "scraps" appear, but the bulk of the book is of manuscript and typescript (mimeographed?) explanations and illustrations of tricks, some with suggested patter for performance. Some are signed by various magicians (R. Robinson, John Barran-Ackroyd, Henry Bate, [John Nevil] Mas[kelyne] and [George A.] Cooke, Walter B. Gibson, [Edward] Maurice, [Floyd G.] Thayer, Edward Macey, Yram, Mascar (G. Bieg), Okito (Thodore Bamberg), and Will Goldston himself.) Also present are ventriloquists' dialogues by Sid Macaire and Robert G. Anthony. Binding is blue cloth; signed bookplate of Will Goldston; material attached to both sides of the leaves in many cases, sometimes using staples; some material laid in.
