More than anything, Abbie wants to "belong" at Delmont High; to be popular, part of Liz Jacobs' in-group. There's just one problem - to be part of Liz's group she has to do what the girls do. And what they do, is shoplift!
Then there's Scott...Abbie likes him so much her knees turn to water whenever she sees him! But he knows all about Liz's group - and he doesn't approve.
Abbie doesn't know what to do! Should she take the easy way and just go along with Liz? She'll have to make a choice between popularity and Scott... [text from book jacket]
